Spiking

Spiking is a method of proofing that will prevent nesting or roosting in select areas such as window ledges, guttering, lamp posts etc.

This method of pest control consists of a strip of metal or plastic ‘spikes’ affixed to a strip that's is attached to the problem area.

This method of pest control does not harm pest species, it simply prevents them from settling in a precise area.

Spikes are available in a wide variety of different sizes, number of spikes and fixing methods - together the variability of them makes them suitable for smaller pest species such as starlings or pigeons all the way up to herring and greater black backed gulls.
